As a council member of the Catholic Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech, I was tasked with finding a low-cost database solution to house all of our contacts: students, parents, donors, etc. What I found was, maybe not shockingly, no good contact database exists for under a couple hundred bucks. Not even for non-profits. So I did what any software developer would do… I brewed my own.
